An exciting, new "Recovery Worship Service,"
began in January this year. On the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month at 5:30 pm. After much success and prayer we are
starting every week in May, 2008 at 5:00 pm, instead of 5:30 pm.
This worship event is not overly religious. It's purpose is to bridge the gap from 12 Step meetings to honor
and praise GOD, through Jesus' Christ for our Recovery!!!! You will find the experience different from what we have all
experienced in Traditional Church. As you will see there will be no Creeds, Doctrines or Religious Dogma.
For many of us we have discovered that our addiction was and is a Spiritual Dis-ease and the only solution for us was
a "Spiritual Solution," in the Person, Jesus Christ!
The service will consist of:
- Music by our wonderful inhouse Praise Band "Soulfire"
- Scripture reading related to one of the 12 Steps.
- Recovery Speaker
- We will offer Communion to those who wish to participate.
- Reading of the "Promises"
- Close with the "Lord's Prayer"
- Fellowship always and refreshments occasionally
